It Was a Perfect Day For The
Chisago Triathlon

What a perfect day for the 2010 Chisago Lakes Triathlon. With temperatures in the high 70s and the sun high in the sky, over 1500 participants took part in either the Sprint or Half Iron Distance Triathlon. David Thompson of St. Paul, Minnesota defended his title in the Half Iron winning the event with a time of 3:55:24. Wisconsin's Jackie Arendt finished first for the women in the Half with a time of 4:27:44. Patrick Parish of Circle Pines, Minnesota and Jenny Wilcox of Cottage Grove, Minnesota were the top finishers in the Sprint Distance both crushing the Sprint race records, 1:15:17 and 1:24:43 respectively.

The spirit of Sweden was apparent throughout the day as participants enjoyed Swedish pancakes and finished under the Swedish flag.
